Professional training for local forest rangers and specialized forest protection forces in 2024 in Hanoi and Thua Thien Hue

Implementing the 2024 work program, the Forest Protection Department organized professional training for local forest rangers and the forest protection forces. The training content included a general introduction to legal documents in forest protection management; professional training on monitoring forest changes, applying technology in forest protection management. The staff including MSc. Vu Van Thai, MSc. Ha Van Nghia, and MSc. Nguyen Huyen Thuong were assigned by Green Field Consulting and Development Co., Ltd. to participate as lecturers and teaching assistants.

The first training course took place from September 12, 2024 to September 14, 2024 at Base 400 of Ba Vi National Park, Ba Vi Commune, Ba Vi District, Hanoi City. Participants included Forest Rangers and Forest Protection Forces of Hanoi City, Lang Son Province, Ba Vi National Park, Cuc Phuong National Park, Tam Dao National Park, and the Forest Protection Department of Region I.

The second training course took place from October 3, 2024 to October 5, 2024 at Duy Tan Hotel, Phu Nhuan Ward, Hue City, Thua Thien Hue Province. Participants included local Forest Rangers, Forest Protection Forces of Da Nang City, Thua Thien Hue Province, Quang Nam Province, the Forest Protection Department of Region IV, and Bach Ma National Park.
