2008-11-25This project is to support MONRE to prepare for the 2nd National statement for the UN Framework Convention on climate change (UNFCCC).
This research project covers following activities:
– Data collection: social economics data, land use change and forest cover change;
– Development of emission scenarios in forestry sector and land use change;
– Development of 7 emission reduction scenarios in Vietnam using COMAP model for the period 2000-2030;
– Cost estimation of greenhouse gas emission reduction for 7 scenarios in Vietnam.
