Urban flooding in Ho Chi Minh city has been a long-running issues for many years. During the rainy season, at least 100 sections of urban roads, including many in the city centre, were deluged. The hardest-hit areas included Districts 6 and 11 and parts of Districts 5 and 10, where the water was knee-deep and in places, even 80 centimeters deep.

With the prediction that the global sea level will probably rise by 1-2 m this century due to global warming, how safe is your property. In the figure on the right you can see the effect of a 6 m increase in sea level would have on the Ho Chi Minh city.
