This online database contain 1000+ common plant species in the forest of Vietnam. The data can be search, short, group by local name, Latin name,  family, and order. User can export data to   CVS  for off-line analysis or to RSS and Json (a java-based data exchange) to directly integrate with their online application.

Species description was provided through iSpecies. iSpecies.org is a search facility from Glasgow University, that integrate data from several sources: genome info from NCBI, distribution map from GBIF, images from Yahoo, and academic articles from Google Scholar.

The database was hosted on DabbleDB, a dynamic database engine that provide powerful and flexible solution for online application.
